1st prize in housing competition organized by Fonds d'urbanisation et d'aménagement du Plateau de Kirchberg
The project is situated on the border between the residential and service area. This particular position created the need for a hinge that would distinguish two different functions – private and public. We aimed for an architecture of two scales. The façade orientated towards the public area foresees private character of the residence, with a massive volume, flat façade surface, balconies, vertical windows and loggias. The one orientated towards the residential area is of different character: with its smooth front, distinguished openings and clear boundaries, leaves the impression of massive volume, punctuated with colors in the background.
